The English Department in St. John’s College would like to state our strong support of Students of Consciousness and their nine demands. We find these demands to be modest, reasonable, and long overdue. Along with other structural changes at the University, they would help to create a better learning environment for all students. We applaud the Students of Consciousness for their courage and forthrightness, and urge the University to respond to their demands in a timely manner.
