Playing at the Yale Invitational over the weekend, the St John’s women’s golf team finished sixth amongst the ten competing schools.
Rollins College (593 strokes) took the victory and claimed four of the top five spots in individual scores, including the number one spot.
Charlotte Campbell (143) placed first amongst the 65 golfers. Ellie Drophy (149) of Yale tied for second with other Rollins golfers, Mariana De Biase (149) and Marie-Pierre Bernier (149).
Vanessa Vela (152), also of Rollins, rounded out the top five.
Yale University (614) took second place and was followed by a three-way tie for third between Columbia University (637), Georgetown University (637) and Harvard University (637).
St. John’s (640) came in right behind.
Seniors Christin Thompson and Maggie Stecuik led the Red Storm, tying for ninth individually with 155 strokes each.
Brittany Lambertson (158) placed 18th overall and Jaclyn Sanders (172) 47th overall.
